“it had everything that we needed for a relaxing stay”
We stayed in the self-catering North Cottage. It made for a perfect base while exploring the Loch and the Trossachs. The accommodation was bright, airy and comfortable, it had everything that we needed for a relaxing stay. The cottage is located right in the centre of Luss Village and its charming attractions, so you are never too far away from what you want to do.
We were so blow away with the resplendence of Luss, the Loch and the surrounding area, it truly does leave you dumfounded. A place so beautiful yet also surprising tranquil, you really can find silence and solitude in this area to forget the modern world for a little while.
We recommend a 6pm wild swim in Luss bay for a truly exhilarating experience with a breath-taking backdrop!
Unbeknownst to us, was a connection to William Wordsworth and his sister Dorothy, which we highly recommend you look into, as it provided us with much inspiration and curiosity of the past, as we followed in their footsteps while touring the area.
We are already planning our next trip to this unforgettable place, to continue on the trail of the Wordworths and their hero Rob Roy.
