“What a wonderful way to spend Christmas” Wow! Just returned for our stay at the cottage. What a wonderful way to spend Christmas there was 11 of our family there and we had an amazing time. The house was amazing, clean, newly refurbished and had everything you need. Each room was nicer than the other. Will loved it that much we have already booked again!!! Thank you to Ian & Joyce who were only a phone call away if needed.

“perfect for a family getaway” We had a lovely stay in Glenview Luss Cottages. We were attending a family wedding in Luss and the cottages are in an ideal place close to the hotel and perfect for a family getaway. The beds were comfy, the heat was great as it was a very cold week and overall we had a great time.

“highly recommend for a large group” 15 of us stayed here for a reunion. The place was great the rooms were spacious and spotless. Good communication with the owners, highly recommend for a large group to stay.

“from the moment you arrive you feel at home” A lovely place to stay, from the moment you arrive you feel at home, warm clean comfortable. I was suprised how spacious and well equipped the accommodation was and i think the breakfast idea was marvellous, full marks all round.

“really loved the decor and the cleanliness of the whole building” My partner and I enjoyed two lovely nights at the Glenview. The room is large and very comfortable. It is in a lovely area in Luss and easy to get to shops and pub. We really loved the decor and the cleanliness of the whole building. We would definitely book again hopefully in the Spring of Autumn next year.

“All in all excellent accomodation” Very good property which suited our needs for a short stay of just 3 nights. Clean, Well equipped and warm. Twin room is more suited to kids than adults, but was useable. WiFi and TV good. A few minor points ...Complimentary tea and coffee were provided but no Salt and pepper? We would advise bringing groceries with you as the local shop is limited and expensive... nearest supermarket @ 10 miles away. Driveway access is a little tight but no issue of you take care. All in all excellent accomodation and we would return. Would recommend the Bistro on the next steet for good value eating out.

“must mention the duvet bedding was ever so soft!” We booked the Sun Room. It was very clean and comfortable. The wee conservatory/breakfast room was lovely and everything you could need for breakfast was there!!! Would go again, oh and must mention the duvet bedding was ever so soft! Meant to ask where it was from!

“friendly and helpful” Very comfortable accommodation within easy reach of local amenities. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

“great location, great room” We stopped here on our way to the Isle of Skye, great location, great room (four poster bedroom) and great communication!

“super clean, tidy and cosy” We spent three nights at Glen View, in the four poster room. The room was super clean, tidy and cosy. Furnishings were stylish and comfortable. Continental breakfast in your room was an added bonus and provided everything you could want. The Village Rest Bistro served excellent, varied food with great portions. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Luss is a charming little place with stunning views. We will be returning.

“Very lovely accommodation, clean & inviting” Very lovely accommodation, clean & inviting with only 2x buts .... a) you can't turn off the bathroom mirror light or if you can, we couldn't work out how, lol and b) the wooden flooring is a tad noisy. However, we would thoroughly recommend the Sun Room, we had a relaxing time and also enjoyed a meal in the Bistro around the corner. Many thanks

“Bed was very comfortable” Stayed in Sun Room for 1 night. My fiancé and I both really enjoyed staying here even though we didn't get to spend a lot of time in the room. Bed was very comfortable and the room we ate breakfast was a nice place to eat and wake up to.

“Thoroughly recommend this accomodation” We stayed in the Sun Room. We arrived in torrential rain so it was lovely to step into really warm, clean and comfortable accomodation. Bed was very comfortable and the shower en-suite was pristine. The small adjoining conservatory/ sun room was well equipped with fridge, toaster and kettle and all the ingredients for tea, coffee and continental breakfast. Evening meals are available next door in the Village Rest or across the street in the hotel. Thoroughly recommend this accomodation and we would certainly stay again.

“Lovely modern immaculate bathroom, bedroom” Perfect alternative to local hotel stay! We attended a wedding at the Lodge in Loch Lomond and chose to stay here in the Sun Room as opposed to a room in the hotel. This was the perfect base! Lovely modern immaculate bathroom, bedroom and sunroom for breakfasting and just 5 minutes walk away from the hotel! Happy to highly recommend!

“The balcony room was clean and light (and huge!)” Having had all our ferry crossings to the islands cancelled due to storm Julia, we found Glenview at the last minute. It was a warm welcome and Joyce ensured we had everything we needed. The balcony room was clean and light (and huge!) and the bed very comfortable. A bit noisy from other guests, but you can't control that. We can also recommend the haggis at the local Loch Lomond Arms!

“The accommodation is first class” We had a fantastic stay at the Glenview luss. The accommodation is first class and very well kept and has everything you need. Also Joyce was fantastic if we had any questions, also they have a bistro round the corner and serve a great range with. Good flavours and local ingredients. We'll be back xx

“Very clean, ideal location” Very clean, ideal location, also nice to have breakfast supplies in the room. There were menus for the Village Rest in the rooms, so that's where we went to eat - highly recommended, excellent selection and delicious food. Will definitely stay here again when we are back up to spend more time in the Loch Lomond area.

“well equipped, beautifully presented” We stayed in Glenview cottages for a family wedding. The cottage is perfectly located to explore the Loch Lomond area. It is well equipped, beautifully presented and has plenty of space to relax. Plenty to do in the area and nice local places to dine out. We had a great time!

“We really enjoyed our recent stay at Glenview” We really enjoyed our recent stay at Glenview. Accommodation had everything you need and Joyce was extremely helpful and personable. The local pub was excellent - as was The Village Rest. We would definitely visit again but hopefully it'll be a little brighter (and dryer!) then which obviously the retreat cannot control :-)

“I don’t want anyone to know how incredibly awesome this “hotel” room and staff are at Glenview Luss” I don’t want anyone to know how incredibly awesome this “hotel” room and staff are at Glenview Luss … very selfishly. I don’t want it to be booked the next time I come to Luss💗. These past three weeks I have been on a Christian Pilgrimige through Ireland, Northern Ireland and to Scotland to visit my clan sites. That landed me in Luss. I had the balcony room at the Glenview Luss. As an older single woman, I promise you there are no better accommodations than my room at GV Luss. The staff made me feel like family and set up the best breakfast bar complete with a toaster, breads, muffins, croissants, jams, Nutella, butter, yogurt, shortbread, fresh squeezed OJ, melk, tea, instant coffee, sugar. The place was immaculate, easy to turn up furnace, HUGE bedroom space and bathroom space. There were four different sitting areas. It had a desk, dinning area and A REFRIDGERATOR (The only time I had cold beverages)!! The town of Luss is so quaint and small you can walk anywhere from this cottage. I really wish I cancelled my trip to Edinbrugh and stayed in my balcony room with the beautiful trees out the window (not looking at cement or other apartments out my window)!! The bathroom had a towel warming unit, quality shampoo/body wash and a real bar of soap! Ian owns The Village Rest just around the corner. My favorite food and dinning experience on the whole trip. If you need a kind, knowledgeable, flexible, patient, service—oriented taxi driver, have Ian connect you with Peter Scott (my best friend in Scotland)! Please tell him hi for me. You will not be sorry and you won’t want to leave my “secret” hotel. I promise❣️

“We really wished we could have stay longer!” This was such a beautiful and charming room. The decor was lovely, the facilities were modern, parking was easy. The breakfast was really good even though it wasn't a hot breakfast. We were in the four-poster room and were pleasantly surprised to find a private patio for our use. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. We really wished we could have stay longer!

“Perfect spot for a couple” Perfect spot for a couple of nights on Loch Lomond! The Sun Room was an ideal spot for breakfast and the bed was very comfy.

“exceeded all expectations” Wonderful getaway experience. This was a beautiful place in a beautiful location. Beautiful room/apartment that met and exceeded all expectations, so clean and comfortable, a beautiful relaxing feel about the whole package.

“spacious, warm and welcoming” A very enjoyable visit. Easy to find, great location in Luss and Loch Lomond generally. Cottage is a bit of a Tardis; unassuming and small in appearance externally but bright , spacious, warm and welcoming once through the door. Good and comfortable facilities all round. Location was fantastic for our needs which was a wedding across the road: easy walk for us and a quick stumble home after the events. We visited the coffee & gift shops, the Loch of course, and walked through the various pathways around Luss, the church and the river. Beautiful and atmospheric scenery. Will be very happy to make a return visit.

“like sleeping with a cloud wrapped around you 💕” Absolutely lovely cottage, it had everything we needed for our long weekend at Lochlomond for a family wedding 👰🏼🤵‍♂️. We slept so well. The bedding, quilt & pillows were like sleeping with a cloud wrapped around you 💕. Would love to come back one day. Highly recommend this place 5*s.

“extremely comfortable and clean” We’ve just enjoyed a lovely short stay at Glenview South Cottage. The cottage was extremely comfortable and clean and ideally situated to exploring Luss. Would highly recommend.

“absolutely perfect” The location was ideal and the cottage itself was absolutely perfect. We opted for self catered accommodation to try and keep costs down and the cottage had everything we needed when it came to cooking meals. It was spacious and comfortable and the hosts were very responsive to our queries but otherwise we we left to enjoy ourselves. I’ve would highly recommend.

“Warm & comfortable accommodation ideally situated” We wanted to walk in the Luss Hills and this was a good central location for Glens Fruin, Luss & Douglas. Warm & comfortable accommodation ideally situated in the village close to all restaurants and eateries.

“Cottage well equipped and clean” Lovely village, close to Loch Lomond and convenient stop off on the way further north. Easy check in and out. Cottage well equipped and clean. Nice walks around the village and higher up.

“Go again? Yes most definitely.” Stayed at Glenveiw House, it was amazing. Plenty of room for my guests and myself. Beautifully decorated and equipped throughout. Great base for exploring the surrounding area. The wee restaurant round the corner was fabulous, wife, sis an me went there. Wife had chilli, which she said was great. Sis an' me had scampi an onion rings. Expected bout 6/8 but was served with generous portions. I rarely give reviews and normally holiday further north. So thanks to the management team for being there if needed. Go again? Yes most definitely.

“Really homey feeling” Spotlessly clean, very well equipped, nicely designed, lovely complementary features such as little soaps and shampoos. Very friendly owner, nice chat, no question was too much. Perfectly situated and very quiet place. Really homey feeling.

“Will be going back at some point” We were there for 2 nights for a wedding. Cant fault it, it was a lovely cottage we were in. Garden furniture outside. Inside was very spacious and clean. Topped up breakfast essentials , everything on hand,great shower,double bed, super heating how warm you need.must visit. Will be going back at some point.

“excellent in every respect” Home from Home. We stayed in the Garden Cottage which as the title suggests had everything you might need. Self catering but with a breakfast provided. A quick stay for two nights but excellent in every respect.

“Brand new, high quality luxury” Brand new, high quality luxury. The accommodation was top class. Every detail was considered. The standard of the room and bathroom was excellent. Located at the heart of Luss.

“everything that we needed” Well appointed accommodation, everything that we needed for the midweek break, easy walk from loch after swimming to get a shower, no need to change at loch easy accessible for biking the length of Loch Lomond. Golf close by, hillwalking on your doorstep and a few eating places very close.

“Glenview had everything we hoped for” Short stay in the beautiful village of Luss. Glenview had everything we hoped for in a holiday home. Very spacious and clean. Had a lovely stay and would have no hesitation in recommending.

“I would 100% stay again” We stayed here while we attended a wedding. The location was perfect, local shop is super close, the loch is super close. We arrived late and they ensured we had dinner brought round for us before the local bistro closed. Their contact and updates were on point. All staff were very welcoming, friendly, accommodating. The room we stayed in was clean, spacious and had all we needed and more. I would 100% stay again. Big thanks to everyone who made our stay amazing xx
